My only claim to fame
is that I've moved 41 times and lived to
tell about it. As a military wife I've
lived in Alaska and Germany, East East, West
Coast and points in between. I
retired from Texas A&M five years ago where
I taught English to international students,
primarily Koreans and Chinese. I'm
currently doing private tutoring and editing
- keeps me very busy.
I graduated from the
U of Idaho with a Bachelor's degree and
later took a Masters from SUNY, Buffalo, NY.
I also did post graduate work at Wright
State University, Dayton, OH.
For several years I was an education
specialist for the Bureau of Indian Affairs
on the Navajo Reservation (Chinle, AZ) and
later taught at the College of Ganado, also
on the reservation.
I have been
married/divorced twice. I'm now living
in College Station, TX near my son and three
grandchildren. I also have two
daughters, one in Seattle and one in Juneau,
with three grandsons among them. The
two pictures were taken in Juneau last
summer - the bear is really friendly!
Looking forward to our 60th and catching up
with former classmates.
